We Don't Take Any of This for Granted 🥹
It is officially OUT.
And honestly? We're still trying to process it all.
After years of conversations, ideas scribbled down in notes apps, late-night writing sessions, stories we weren't sure we'd ever share, lessons learned the hard way, and a whole lot of life happening in between, The Courage to Commit is finally out in the world!
This week has felt surreal.
Not because a book launched.
Because of the people who showed up for it!
Nashville, THANK YOU!
We kicked off launch week in our hometown of Nashville with two friends we love, Adam Doleac and John Delony! Standing on that stage, looking out at so many familiar faces, we were reminded that this book was never just ours. It was built from conversations, relationships, encouragement, and the people who've walked alongside us through every season.
If you couldn't make it to Nashville, we're excited to share that conversation with you on the podcast later today!

Then we packed our bags, got a little sleep, and hit the road. Our next stop was Philadelphia, where we got to share the stage with Dave Ogleton (@fitdadceo). We laughed a lot, met so many incredible people, and ate food we'll be talking about for a long time 😂!
After that, we drove straight to New York City, woke up early for a full day of press, and celebrated launch day surrounded by people who made the whole experience feel incredibly special. Every conversation, every hug, every person who stopped by to say they were reading the book reminded us why we wanted to write it in the first place.
We ended the night on the water in Chelsea with our friend Jimmy Soni. If you've read The Courage to Commit, you've already seen Jimmy's fingerprints all over it. He helped shape this book from the very beginning and played a huge role in helping us turn years of thoughts, stories, and lessons into something we could actually share with you.

A special launch day moment with Jimmy Soni, who helped turn years of conversations, stories, and lessons into The Courage to Commit!
Getting to share the stage with him on launch day felt especially meaningful. We were grateful to hand him the spotlight for a bit and let everyone hear from one of the people who helped make this book what it is. The conversation we had that night will stick with us for a long time.
Unfortunately, because of travel complications, we had to end the mini-tour early and cancel Chicago. To everyone who had tickets, thank you for your patience. We haven't forgotten about you, and we'll have more to share soon.
As we sit here reflecting on the last few days, one thing keeps coming to mind:
Thank you.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for coming to the shows.
Thank you for sharing the book with a friend.
Thank you for listening to the podcast, sending messages, leaving reviews, and cheering us on in ways both big and small!
We don't take any of it for granted.
If you've started reading, we'd love to hear from you. Reply to this email and tell us a favorite takeaway, lesson, quote, or moment that stood out.
And if you came to one of the tour stops, send us your photos! We'd love to see launch week through your eyes.
We're incredibly grateful to be on this journey with you!
