🦃 Your Ultimate Thanksgiving Survival Guide! Tips For a Stress-Free, Fun-Filled Holiday ❤️

Ditch the stress! We're here to help you have a relaxing yet memorable thanksgiving with loved ones this year

Okay But Really…How is it ALREADY Thanksgiving?! 😱

The East Family on Thanksgiving

Anyone else feel like they’re being pranked with how fast this year is going? I mean, wasn’t it just September last week?! Sure feels like it!

Thanksgiving is around the corner, which means family gatherings, loads of good food, and (let’s be real) a hint of chaos 🤪

Whether you're hosting, helping, or just showing up in your leggings to eat, we've put together a Thanksgiving Survival Guide packed with tips to help you enjoy the holiday with less stress and more smiles 🙂 ❤️

Let’s make Thanksgiving memorable, meaningful, and totally manageable!

  1. Focus on the Good Moments 🧡

Family gatherings aren’t perfect, because people aren’t perfect! Focusing on the small joys like the laughter, shared stories, or favorite dishes can help you find gratitude in the little things.

  2. Plan Ahead But Be Flexible Where You Can 🍂

A little prep can go a long way! Before the big day, make a list of everything you need to bring, cook, or prepare for the meal. Remember, things might not go exactly as planned, but that’s okay! Flexibility is key to keeping the day stress-free and enjoyable!

  3. Make Thanksgiving Feel Personal

Thanksgiving traditions are a great way to create memories year after year. Level up your time together by adding a new activity, playing a game or going around the table to share what you’re each thankful for.

  4. Make Room for Rest

Between all the cooking and socializing, it’s easy to forget self-care. Schedule in a few minutes for yourself before the craziness begins, whether that’s a quick walk, a short morning workout, or simply a cup of your favorite coffee/tea to start the day on a good note.

  5. Try the “Bring Your Own Dish Approach”

If you’re worried about meeting everyone’s dietary preferences, suggest a potluck-style Thanksgiving where everyone brings something to share. This can help share the load and allows everyone to contribute something special.

Wishing you a relaxed, joyful Thanksgiving filled with lots of laughs, good food, and easygoing conversation. You’ve got this! 🍂

Family Fun Keepsake Idea 📝

Bring a gratitude journal and ask everyone to jot down one thing they’re thankful for that year. Bring the journal each Thanksgiving and watch it become a beautiful keepsake for years to come and a great way to focus on the positive moments!

Shawn and Andrew got to interview the Men’s Gymnastics icon himself, “The Pommel Horse Guy” aka Stephen Nedoroscik! This was definitely one of Shawn’s favorite interviews, Stephen has such a contagious, sweet energy about him and we’re convinced after listening you’ll love him too! 🙂
