Landscape Names- Sleek, streamlined choices attached to nature (ex: Coast, Canyon, Grove, Ridge, Slate)
Otherworldly Names- Names connected to specific characters, but overall, this trend is more about a name’s “vibe” (ex: Lumen, Ember, Cosmo, Slate, Solstice)
“Croc” Names- similar to the Croc shoe, these names need someone who is able to see their potential 😉 These are often names plucked from the old family tree (ex: Ethel, Herald, Mildred, Oswald, Millicent)
Gen “Z” Names- Edgy names influenced by the younger generation of parents (ex: Boaz, Enzo, Itzel, Zev, Zuri)

How The Easts Chose Their Baby Names 👶🏼
Shawn explains each of their baby names below:
Drew Hazel: “Drew, simply put, is named after her incredible Daddy Andrew. Hazel is a name both of us have loved for a long time that we also pulled from our family tree (it was my great grandmother’s first name) and we thought it flowed really well with Drew.”
Jett James: "The Name Jett, with two T’s, was my great great great great grandmother’s name (found it in our family tree) and the name James comes from Andrew’s brother.”
Barrett “Bear” Madison: “We wanted to pay tribute to Andrew's dad who passed away and his name was Guy Madison East. Andrew's Grandpa's name was also Madison. We loved the nickname 'Bear' for a long time and considered using that name for Jett but held onto it until it felt right.”
