What has been the biggest challenge for you with three kids?
"Definitely finding time for each of my kids individually and also finding time for Andrew. It's such a hard balance and I feel really spread thin. It sometimes feels like there's not enough hours in the day to give as much undivided attention as I'd like, so I'm working on that!"
How has juggling three kids affected your marriage?
“We’ve definitely had moments where we feel like we’re in over our heads but I’m grateful for how humbling this season has been. For Andrew and I, our marriage is a huge priority. We feel like if we’re prioritizing each other, that’s the best thing for our kids to see. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been really hard at times to pursue each other with three kids under five, but we hold onto our weekly date nights, even if that’s the only real quality time we get together. If you can’t do a date night, try to do a simple check in once a week to make sure you’re on the same page. Anyone who says having kids has no impact on their marriage probably isn't telling the truth because it's a HUGE shift, every single time. It's how you choose to grow in that shift that matters most."
