“Doing pasta night every Saturday has been great for so many reasons. First, we all know what to expect for dinner so it removes the mystery of what to make. Second, cooking the meal is super quick and easy. Third, our kids have learned the steps to make the meal and get to help every week! “Yesterday when leaving the grocery store I was carrying five bags of groceries in my right hand, holding my baby in my left hand and feeling overwhelmed. After I loaded everything into my car and wiped the sweat off my forehead, a woman came up to me and said, “I just wanted to tell you you’re incredible. I watched you walk to your car with your hands completely full and I just wanted to tell you you’re a great mom and you’re doing an amazing job.” My eyes filled with tears and I realized how badly I needed to hear those words in that moment. It reminded me to always take the extra minute to share something kind about someone if you’re thinking it.
